We are seeking energetic and motivated individuals to join our diverse Center Manager team! We believe that education is the door to the future and every child has the right to affordable, individualized, and quality learning experiences. Best in Class assesses and instructs each student, whether they are looking for new and challenging materials or supplementary exercises to build foundational skills.

A successful Center Manager is an individual with reciprocal values to serve as the point of contact for our customers, provide continual constructive feedback to all direct reports and maintain a positive work environment.

Key to the Center Manager objective is a strong focus on enhancing and utilizing effective communication within the workplace. This is an opportunity for growth and development of managerial skills such as conflict de-escalation, conducting employee reviews, scheduling, bookkeeping and balancing the unique needs of families who make up our customer base.

Center Manager Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining and enhancing operations of the center
  • Establishing, maintaining, and coordinating relationships and communication among students, parents, and staff
  • Creating and maintaining schedules
  • Adaptability to assume the instructor role on a case by case basis
  • Monitoring and collecting invoices
  • Maintaining all student files
  • Recruiting new students
  • Retaining current students by maintaining high quality services.

Qualifications:

  • We expect and are seeking a manager who will commit to the position for a minimum of 2 years
  • Bachelor’s Degree required (or must be completed within 6 months of hire date)
  • Leadership experience preferred
  • Strongly prefer bilingual abilities in Mandarin, Cantonese and/or Vietnamese

Work Schedule:

Total 14-18 hours/week commitment

  • Saturday: 9:00am – 5:00pm
  • Sunday: 9:00am-5:00pm
  • Hours for administrative work & additional meetings included
  • Substitute Center Manager opportunities will be available

Compensation:

  • Starting pay $19 to $24 an hour (depending on experience)
